A motivated Nutritionist / Animal Nutritionist / Equine Nutritionist professional is required for our client based in Norfolk. This is an exciting opportunity for a BSC Degree qualified animal loving /equine professional looking to further develop their career within the industry.

This role will be working as part of the Nutrition Team, primarily providing nutritional advice for equines but also providing nutritional advice for rabbit/guinea pig and smallholder animals such as poultry, pigs, sheep, goats and cattle.  There is opportunity for development and growth within this role.

Some travel will be required for this role therefore own transport is essential due to rural location. This is a full time position based in Shipdham, Norfolk.

Qualifications:

Ideally BSc - relevant degrees include:

Equine Science

Agriculture with Animal Science

Animal Science

Animal Management

Key Skills:

• Good nutritional knowledge with hands-on equestrian experience is essential

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Answering nutritional telephone and email enquiries
• Providing Equine nutritional support to the Area Sales Managers
• Managing the processing of yard call packs and processing rations from yard calls
• Writing external and internal equestrian articles
• Attending and assisting with the organising, logistics, set up and administration of exhibitions/events
• Working on equestrian feed trials and their administration
• Gaining an understanding of various quality organisations requirements
• Researching the feasibility of potential new products
• Feed talks and training
• Sampling
