ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

Our client, a leading specialist security solutions provider due to business expansion are now looking for an Assistant Accountant.

Duties will include preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules and documentation.

Preparation of divisional and departmental accounts and related reviews with managers.

Preparation of management and financial reports as required including weekly operations reports.

Maintain detailed costing records of all our products, stock control and supporting routines and records.

Maintain the company's fixed asset register and related duties. Undertake ad hoc projects including new business opportunities, systems and related integration work. Updates - maintain an industry awareness of modifications to our reporting systems, train and update colleagues throughout the business of modifications and the impact on system users.

Development of Accounts systems and their critical business use. Keep under review current tax and accounting requirements relating to our business. Train new and existing staff as appropriate.

Communicate with the management team and relevant staff on relevant issues. Maintain and develop internal and external relationships.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:- Highly organised Qualified ACA or equivalent.

Consideration given to candidates still training.

Demonstrable system development and reporting skills.

Able to communicate at all levels, in particular at senior level and with professional bodies. Ability to work in rapidly changing environment.

Able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers. Highly skilled in using MS Office and Accounting software. Ability to provide management reports and manipulate systems appropriately. Reliable and hardworking.
