Our client, a niche global solutions provider is looking to recruit an additional Application Tester to join their Test Engineering team based in London and assist in the creation of a new generation of products.

Reporting into the Test Lead, you will be responsible for developing test strategies and writing test plans on your own initiative with very little documentation, executing associated scripts, checking for file bugs and verifying that they are fixed and also provide UI feedback on J2ME Applications.

Our client is looking for individuals who are self-driven, commercial and creative thinking and degree qualified in Computer Sciences or have a proven commercial background who can demonstrate experience of working within a testing capacity on mobile applications for both Android and IOS systems.

Skills in Java, J2ME and Google, understand the relative impact of reported problems, device configuration for data via access points on behalf of network operators, Install J2ME applications and be passionate about my client and their market place.

Our client is offering a salary in the region of £27,000 - £33,000 depending on the individual along with associated benefits including a KPI bonus.

Hours of work are 40 per week Monday – Friday.
