Our client, a privately owned manufacturing organisation based in the Petersfield area of Hampshire are now looking for an experienced Buyer to join their existing operation.

As a Buyer you will be responsible for liaising with customers and negotiating with suppliers, contract review and NPI tasks, demand forecasting, agreeing and monitoring supplier delivery performance and purchase contracts, producing and analysing department reports, utilising the in house MRP system as well as working to ISO9000, ISO14001 and TS16949 standards.

Our client is ideally looking for individuals who are qualified to degree standard or CIPS certified and can demonstrate a proven track record of working within a buying/purchasing capacity within a high volume manufacturing environment and for a medium sized organisation.

Individuals who can demonstrate previous experience within a transport supply chain would be of interest particularly automotive would be of distinct interest to our client, though not essential.

Individuals must also possess their own transport.

This position is offering a salary in the region of £25,000 - £30,000.
