A motivated Project Buyer / Procurement / purchasing professional is required for our manufacturing client based in Sutton Coldfield to coordinate the purchasing activities in all areas of projects from sourcing through negotiation to order placement and follow up, in accordance with all specifications, quality standards and purchasing procedures.

The ideal candidate will have relevant Buyer / Procurement / purchasing experience within ideally the automotive industry or similar engineering manufacturing organisation. Ideal qualifications in CIPS and/or formal business/commercial/engineering or materials management qualification. Experience in a similar purchasing / buying role currently in a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier or working up towards this would be of great interest.

7.           Improve project activity through planned programme control

8.           Cost savings in line with budgetary requirements

9.           Raise Production Order as and when required
